About this piece
The short glass in the range. The amber sits in the glass itself rather than on it, so the colour does not wear off the outside with use. Wall thickness is 2.4 mm — thick enough to be handled daily, thin enough that light still passes through and drops a warm patch on the table.
Care and safety
- The rim is bare glass. No coating or paint sits within 20 mm of the lip.
- Glass breaks. A chipped rim or a cracked base can cut — stop using the piece and wrap the pieces before discarding them.
- Soda-lime glass. Do not pour boiling water into it and do not move it straight from a hot wash to a cold surface.
