Right of withdrawal

Under the Danish Consumer Contracts Act (forbrugeraftaleloven) you may withdraw from your purchase within 14 days without giving a reason.

The period runs from the day you — or someone you nominate other than the carrier — take physical possession of the goods. If an order arrives in several parcels, it runs from the day you receive the last one.

Everything in this shop is a standard stock item. Nothing is made to order or personalised, so no exception to the right of withdrawal applies to anything we sell.

Tell us before the 14 days are up. An unambiguous statement is enough — an email saying you are withdrawing is fine. You can use the standard form below, but you are not obliged to.

We confirm receipt of your withdrawal in writing and tell you where to send the goods.

Send the goods back within 14 days of telling us you are withdrawing.

• Unused, and in their original packaging. Keep the inner cushioning and the compartment insert — that packing is what stops glass breaking on the way back.
• You pay the return postage. We do not collect.
• You are responsible for the goods until they reach us. Because these are glass, we strongly recommend a tracked service, and repacking exactly as they arrived.

You are liable for any reduction in value caused by handling beyond what is needed to establish the nature and characteristics of the goods. Unpacking a glass, looking at it and putting it back is fine. Drinking from it, burning a candle in it or putting it through a dishwasher is not.

We refund the full purchase price plus the standard delivery cost of the original order, within 14 days of receiving your withdrawal — though we may withhold payment until the goods are back with us, or until you show proof that they have been sent.

The refund goes back by the same means you paid. If you chose a more expensive delivery option than our standard one, we refund the standard cost rather than the upgrade.

If you withdraw from part of an order and what remains falls below the free-delivery threshold, the delivery cost that would have applied to the remaining items is deducted.

Withdrawal is your right to change your mind about goods that are perfectly fine. If something is faulty, that is the right of complaint, which lasts 2 years and works differently. If a piece arrived broken, that is transport damage and is handled faster than either.

You may use this form, but you do not have to. Complete and return it only if you wish to withdraw.
