About this piece
The ribbing is structural as much as decorative: each rib bends the light differently, so the patch this glass drops on the table is banded rather than solid. Misty rose is a pale colour and the effect is easiest to see on a light surface.
Care and safety
- The rim is bare glass. No coating or paint sits within 20 mm of the lip.
- Glass breaks. A chipped rim or a cracked base can cut — stop using the piece and wrap the pieces before discarding them.
- Soda-lime glass. Do not pour boiling water into it.
