Glasshue
Mouth-blown plum carafe with a leaning body and visible bubbles, strongly backlit.

Mouth-Blown Carafe 900 ml

Mouth-blown, so the body is never quite symmetrical.

Colour

Colour name
Plum
How the colour was made
Through-coloured

The colour is in the glass itself, not applied to its surface, so handling and dishwashing cannot wear it off.

Screens do not show glass accurately. These are photographs taken under stated light conditions, not a colour match — the object will look different again in your own room.

About this piece

The most expensive piece in the range and the one that varies most between examples. Genuinely mouth-blown: the body leans slightly, the wall thickens toward the base, and there are bubbles. Capacity is nominal and varies within 5%.

Care and safety

  • Soda-lime glass. Do not fill with boiling water.
  • Hand wash. The irregular body does not sit reliably in a dishwasher rack.
  • Bubbles, an asymmetric body and an uneven rim are characteristics of mouth-blowing and are not grounds for complaint.
